Auto Centre Closure

A commitment to high quality goods and services has always been a part of what makes co-operatives unique. Pineland Co-op strives to live up to this value at every turn. As part of our commitment to provide our members and guests with the services that they deserve the decision was made to close the service bays and small engine repair shop at our Home Centre location in Nipawin.

Changes in technology have caused a shift towards vehicle owners servicing their vehicles at the manufacturing dealer and we have found that we are no longer able to provide the wide range of services that our members deserve.

It is also important that our business units remain financially viable and strong. Labour sales have declined to the point where our Auto Centre is not performing to a profitable level and we have chosen not to subsidize these services from our other business units.

Our Home Centre will continue to function and bring you the home and building solutions and services that you have come to expect. The closure of the service bays will allow us to use the space to receive and stock merchandise that is relevant and useful to both our members and our business.

Questions and concerns may be directed to Pineland Co-op’s General Manager, Greg Schoonbaert by phone at 306-862-4668, by e-mail to feedback@pinelandcoop.com, or by mail to Box 2015, Nipawin, SK. S0E 1E0.

The patronage and support of our members and guests of the Auto Centre over the years has truly been appreciated. We look forward to serving you in the other areas of our business and promise to continue bringing you high quality products and services. Please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
